Jo's Surgery Update #10

Hi everyone!

Jo has had a pretty eventful morning. Her nurse came in ready to rock and roll and get Joanna up and going. She had her walk the floor again, and again, and again. Then she had her sit up in her chair for an extended period. The doc strolled in around this time and was really encouraged about her progress. He ordered the NG tube out of her nose and the monitors off her chest. She still has the IV and will until they know she can eat.

They are still waiting on the bowels to wake up. They are pretty quite right now. Once they do, they should be able to start feeding her a clear liquid diet. Jo's feeling pretty hungry. She hasn't 'eaten' since Friday night!

Praise God with us that the NG tube is out, and it seems like Jo is healing well. Please continue to pray with us that He will start her tummy back up soon so that she can start eating.

Thanks for sticking with us.

God is good.

Moore progress,
C&J

Please let Joanna know that all of her colleagues at Kids Cook! send their very best. We have been worried about her and are so glad to hear that she is progressing in her recovery! We are praying for Joanna's healing, for the removal of the NG tube (so she can eat!!!), and for strength for your entire family. Take good care. Amy & Matt Keller & kids

I am amazed at the strength and tenacity of that little girl! She is such a beautiful role model, and blessed with a husband who adores her. You two are great together. My specific prayer is that this surgery that removed some problems will be the beginning of Jo feeling much better and being healthier longterm. love you JMG
