Jo's tummy seems to be waking up! So that is the good news. The bad news is it is not a fun experience. :( She had a pretty rough night. We were up for a couple of hrs dealing with that last night, so she is sleeping it off now.
Hopefully the doc will come in today and put her on a clear liquid diet.
They've had to change her IV site multiple times since she's been here and that has not been fun either. Lots of poking and searching. :(
Jo is seriously the toughest person I've ever known. She's been through lots in the last few days, and the road to recover is still long. Pray to God with us that "we (will) not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. (And that) we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2Corinthians 14:16-18
